Vintage Levi’s 501

The Levi’s 501 is a true icon, loved by both men and women across generations. With a mid-waist and straight leg design, the 501 is incredibly versatile.

Classic 80s model in extra heavy denim. These jeans are from 1989 and were made in the USA at the famous Valencia Street Levi’s factory (factory stamp 555) – a very rare pair! Produced in the USA before Levi’s closed its last American factories.

Please note that 80s and made in the USA vintage Levi’s are becoming increasingly rare, and have the potential to increase in value in the years to come.

100% cotton: extra and durable shrink-to-fit denim (501xx), fades extra beautifully, easy to repair. But no stretch – refer to measurements below, and follow our FAQ/size guide for sizing!

Condition

These jeans are pre-owned. They have a strong vintage vibe due to a crotch repair. The repair was performed by an offical Levi’s tailor. The repair adds lot of character, but is visible. And the inside patch can be felt when worn. See photos for details – or feel free to ask if you want more information.

Size

Original size on the care tag is 29×33, but they have shrunk to approximately 28×28. This is because they are made from shrink-to-fit denim, which shrinks on the first wash. They will not shrink further.
